AIR QUALITY ADVISORY FOR AUGUST 27, 2026 OZONE ADVISORY AND EXTREME HEAT WARNING THROUGH AUGUST 28, 2026
The South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD) forecasts air quality levels on Thursday, August 27, 2026, to be "unhealthy for sensitive groups" for communities in the West San Fernando Valley, West San Gabriel Valley, South San Gabriel Valley, and the San Gabriel Mountains. Sensitive or susceptible persons, including children, older adults and those with heart or lung disease, should minimize outdoor activity. Refer to the attached maps of schools that fall within the designated areas.
