Please note the previous advisory issued October 4, 2026 has been revised to include a status update on the Bouquet Fire. This revised advisory also includes maps for the Central Los Angeles, West San Gabriel Valley, South San Gabriel Valley, and South Central Los Angeles County areas.

The Office of Environmental Health and Safety (OEHS) is monitoring the Bouquet Fire, which erupted in Santa Clarita on October 3, 2026. Containment is up to 48%. Air quality conditions within Los Angeles Unified School District boundaries have not been affected by the fire due to favorable weather conditions and the progress of the fire fighting. Nevertheless, OEHS staff will continue to monitor conditions to ensure the safety of our school communities.
